| Scientific Background: | Kaiso (Clone 6F1D) is a zinc-finger transcription factor protein that binds to methylated and non-methylated GTGCNA motifs, and is also known as ZNF-Kaiso or ZBTB33. Kaiso interacts with the cell adhesion cofactor p120 catenin and may also recruit N-CoR repressor complex to promote histone deacetylation and repress transcriptional activity. |
