Description:  Naturally occurring phenolic antioxidant. Displays anti-tumor and anti-platelet effects. Resveratrol activates sirtuin subtype 1 (SIRT1). SIRT1 activation has been reported to inhibit tumorigenesis and tumor cell proliferation. Ameliorates ageing-related phenotypes by inhibition of cAMP phosphodiesterases.
