| Description: | Recombinant human BRDT bromodomain 2 (CT9, Fsrg3, accession number Q58F21, amino acids 258 to 387) containing an N-terminal GST tag, expressed in E. coli. BRDT is a testis-specific bromodomain protein that binds histone H4 acetylated at lysine 5 and lysine 8. BRDT is required for spermatogenesis and male mice lacking BRDT are sterile. BRDT is expressed in a percentage of cancers such as non-small cell lung cancer and squamous cell carcinomas of the head, neck and esophagus. |
