Description:	Full length recombinant PRMT6 expressed in baculovirus system (residues 2-375). PRMT6, a type I arginine methyltransferase, catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) to an nitrogen of the guanidino function of protein L-arginine residues and the transfer of a second methyl group to the same nitrogen, yielding assymmetric dimethylarginine (aDMA). PRMT6 methylates Arg-2 of Histone H3 (H3R2), promoting transcriptional repression.
Storage:	Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20℃ or -80℃ for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
